My Name is Denise Dykes and I am a fully qualified approved driving instructor.
I have 17 years of quality teaching experience. Back in 2003 there was no legislation in relation to driving lessons and although I loved driving I wanted to have the proper knowledge to provide structured professional lessons, so I studied for the DIR (driving instructor’s registrar of Ireland) exams and when i passed them I started up my own driving school.
In 2009 I became an ADI (approved driving instructor) as new legislation was passed and all driving instructors in the country had to pass three exams set out by the RSA.I now hold a fetac level 6 in driving tuition.
